Santiam Correctional Institution (SCI) once again celebrated a successful family Christmas event on the evening of December 12, 2019. Nearly 40 adults in custody (AICs) were able to participate in the event this year, and 65 children joined in the fun with their chaperones bringing the total number of participants up to 137!
Continue reading “A Very Merry Christmas at SCI”On Friday, November 22, adults in custody (AICs) at Deer Ridge Correctional Institution (DRCI) were able to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones. The event included all of the traditional goodies: turkey, cranberry sauce, and lots of tasty pumpkin pie.
A total of 34 AICs attended this event with 80 of their family members. DRCI staff and AICs expressed gratitude for all of the support and positivity that was present at this traditional celebration. Please enjoy the slideshow of photos below. So many beautiful smiles!
Powder River Correctional Facility (PRCF) held its 7th Annual Family Day Event on August 24, 2019. The event was attended by 40 adults in custody as well as 134 of their friends and family members.

Families gathered on the West yard and in Multi for the daylong event. The day was a total success, with 138 participating AICs and 348 visitors attending!
