Warner Creek saw the sign and it opened up their eyes!

Lakeview High and Daly Middle School had a problem: their music program sign had seen better days. The rundown sign just didn’t represent the school’s talented music students, and something had to be done about it. Enter Warner Creek Correctional Facility’s (WCCF) physical plant. When students submitted font recommendations to music teacher Jenna Kohut, adults in custody (AICs) at Warner Creek’s physical plant made their ideas come to life in the form of a brand new sign!
On Thursday, November 7, WCCF Superintendent Steve Brown, Lisa Carpenter and Stephanie Johnston presented the music department with the brand new sign, which will be displayed outside the music building. And according to Johnston, “the cat’s out of the bag” – the locals have heard about the great work done by WCCF AICs. This isn’t the first sign Warner Creek has donated to the community, and it certainly won’t be the last!
